This checklist is intended to provide you with a clear and helpful guideline for providing the basic information necessary for admission to Jamestown Community College.  Depending upon your particular circumstances, additional documents, or information may be needed.

NEW STUDENTS - FIRST TIME APPLICANTS

____ Completed online application for admission: wwww.sunyjcc.edu  

____ Official high school transcript or proof of GED

____ Official college transcript (for students transferring from another college)

____ Copies of grade reports for placement test exemption OR

          schedule placement testing at:  www.sunyjcc.edu/placementtesting

 

READMISSION - APPLICANTS THAT HAVE PREVIOUSLY ATTENDED JCC

 

____ Completed JCC online readmission application: www.sunyjcc.edu

____ Academic appeal form (if previously dismissed for academic reasons)


 

____ Submit official college transcripts from ALL other institutions attended to the Admissions Office

 

TRANSFER -  APPLICANTS TRANSFERRING FROM ANOTHER COLLEGE

____ Completed JCC online application for admission: www.sunyjcc.edu

____ Submit your high school transcript or proof of GED to the Admissions Office

 

____ Copies of grade reports for placement test exemption OR

          schedule placement testing at:  www.sunyjcc.edu/placementtesting

 

____ Submit your official College transcripts from ALL other institutions attended to the               Admissions   Office

           

ALL STUDENTS MUST COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING:

 ____ Immunization records (if born after 1/1/57) to be submitted to JCC Health Center

 

____ Certificate of Residence Form (COR): All students residing in NYS are required to provide a valid Certificate of Residence each academic school year in order to qualify for the in-state tuition rate. ____ Visit www.sunyjcc.edu/financialaid to begin the process for federal, state, and institutional financial aid including grants, scholarships, and student loans. Students who file admission, FAFSA, and other JCC scholarship applications by March 1 before their enrollment receive priority consideration for financial assistance.
